Chairman of the Board
Chairman, Roger Barnett was the founder and CEO of Beauty.com and the CEO of Arcade Marketing, the largest sampling company in the world. He is the chairman and CEO of Shaklee Corporation, the leading natural nutrition company in the US.
CEO, Nathan Stoll knows both social and information technology. As an early Googler, he helped develop and launch a number of revolutionary products. He ran Google News, overseeing its rapid expansion to more than 40 countries and into its place as the top global news aggregator. The last company he co-founded, Aardvark, was the first social search engine and was acquired in 2010 by Google.
Director, Bing Gordon was the Chief Creative Officer at Electronic Arts and prior to that headed up EA’s marketing and product development. Bing is a general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He leads KPCB’s sFund, the investment initiative to fund and build applications and services that deliver on the promise of the social web.
VP of Engineering
Ajay Agrawal is a passionate technologist who found his way to Luvocracy via Oracle, Microsoft, eBay, and numerous startups such as Common Ground and Blurb. Earlier in his career he worked as a software developer on technologies such as secure Unix, windowing toolkits, and the first portable document solution. More recently, he has scaled engineering teams and delivered products such as eBay Seller tools and enhancements to Blurb’s publishing platform.
Andy Ellerhorst began his career at early-stage software service start-up Documental Solutions which grew to become the international standard decision-support solution for the defense industry. Following their acquisition by IHS Jane’s, he left to pursue an MBA at the University of Michigan where he joined social gaming start-up A Bit Lucky (acquired by Zynga) as Head of Marketing.
Christine Martinez has won widespread acclaim for her ability to find up and coming designers and tastemakers and bring them to the forefront. She opened LAMA (Latin America in the Modern Age), a commerce business specializing in home decor and gift items from independent Latino designers. Christine was one of the first members of Pinterest and named a “Pinner to Follow” by numerous publications. She is the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Pinterest Marketing (ALPHA, December 2012).
VP of Design
Brooke Thompson joined Luvocracy from Yahoo where she led design teams for products such as Yahoo! Mail, Messenger, Flickr, Answers, Groups and Home page on web and mobile platforms. Brooke’s deep knowledge of user-centered design has impacted hundreds of millions of people around the world.
